A fire broke out at Darul Ihsan University in city’s Dhanmondi area on Tuesday morning.

Fire Service sources said the fire originated from the generator on the ground floor of the six-storey building of the private university around 10:40 am.

10 students got injured in hurry while getting out of the building. Some injured students were taken to popular hospital for first aid.

Local people had put out the flame before the firefighters reached the spot.
