Kurigram: Indian Border Security Force (BSF) jawans abducted two Bangladeshi boys from Garakmandal border area under Phulbari upazila of the district in the early hours of Saturday.

The victims are identified as Mizanur Rahman, 13 and Al-Amin, 12 and both of them are students of Phulmati High School of the upazila.

The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and family sources said BSF personnel abducted the two boys from an adjacent area of Pillar no 928 of Garakmandal frontier when they were wandering there.

Confirming the matter, Shimulbari Company Commander of Kurigram-45 BGB Battalion Shahiduzzaman said, “Protesting the matter we’ve asked the BSF authorities to sit for a flag meeting but they are yet to make any response.”
