New Delhi: Sooraj Pancholi, who has been accused by deceased actress Jiah Khan for causing her mental and physical agony in the six-page letter she wrote before hanging herself, will be produced before a local court on Tuesday.

Sooraj was arrested by the Mumbai Police Monday afternoon on charge of abetment to suicide but the lawyers said that the police have to investigate more on the matter to come up with a substantial proof against Sooraj, reports

"Sooraj was booked under IPC section 306 of Indian Penal Code and placed under arrest in connection with Jiah Khan suicide case," Additional Police Commissioner Vishwas Nangre Patil said to the reporters.

The young and aspiring Sooraj has been accused by Jiah of forcing her to abort their baby and cheating on her.

"After all the pain, the rape, the abuse, the torture I have seen previously I didn`t deserve this. I didn`t see any love or commitment from you. I just became increasingly scared that you would hurt me mentally or physically," the actress wrote in her letter.
