Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday hosted an Iftar party for her family members and relatives at her official Ganobhaban residence.

The Prime Minister went round different tables set for the guests, exchanged pleasantries with them and enquired about their wellbeing.

Before the Iftar, a special Munajat was offered seeking continued peace, progress and prosperity of the nation.

Khatib of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Moulana M Salauddin Ahmed conducted the Munajat.

Prayers were also offered seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib and other martyrs of the August 15 massacre, martyrs of the War of Liberation and the heroes of all democratic movements.

Awami League Presidium Members Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim, MP, and Kazi Jafarullah, Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Engineer Khandakar Mosharraf Hossain, Barrister Sheikh Fazley Noor Taposh, MP, Sheikh Kabir Hossain, FBCCI President Kazi Akramuddin Ahmed, AL Organizing Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim, Imran Ahmed, MP, Jobeda Khatun Parul, MP, and Jubo League Chairman Omar Faruq Chowdhury attended the iftar, among others.
