Dhaka: Bangladesh’s most celebrated young cricketer and world class all rounder Shakib Al Hasan is all set to tie the knot on a most special numerical day of the century on Wednesday (12-12-12) with Umme Ahmed Shishir, a computer science student studying in the United States of America.
According to Shakib’s family sources, Shakib will walk down the aisle with Umme Ahmed Shishir, who originally from Narayanganj.
Shishir is doing software engineering from Minnesota University in the United States and her family also lives in America. Her family immigrated to the United States when Shishir was just 5 years old.
The world’s number one all rounder and her future wife met each other when Shakib went to England to play county cricket last year while Shishir went there after her graduation.
The wedding ceremony will be held at the Sonargaon Hotel in the capital city, family sources said.
The couple enjoyed together the lone T20 match against West Indies on December 10 at Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium.
