Here is some good news for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan fans. Aishwarya will be attending the 66th Cannes International Film Festival, which starts on 15 May.

Aishwarya, who has been attending the festival since 2002 as the global face of L'Oreal will be seen walking the red carpet this year too. This will mark her 12th consecutive appearance.

Aishwarya's Devdas (2002) was the first Indian film to have premiered with much grandeur at the Cannes Film Festival. Aishwarya had a big role to play in Cannes every year, from opening the festival to attending the hi-profile AMFAR dinner.

This year, Aishwarya will be joined by her father-in-law, superstar Amitabh Bachchan as his film 'The Great Gatsby' is set to open the Cannes fest. In addition to the Bachchans, the 2013 Cannes Film Festival will also see a large number of celebrities from the Indian film industry; this being the centenary year of Indian cinema.

The 66th Cannes International Film Festival takes place from May 15 to May 26.
