A two-day education fair, ‘Study in India’, will begin on Friday (July 5) at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the city.

An Indian company, AFAIRS Exhibitions and Media Pvt. Ltd., is organizing the fair in view of considerable interest among students in Bangladesh to study in India.

The aim of the fair is to provide students in Bangladesh and their parents an opportunity to interact directly with Indian institutions of higher education which offer a wide range of bachelors and masters programmes as well as Indian boarding schools offering international curriculum to students.

Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Pankaj Saran will inaugurate the fair while President of India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry Abdul Matlub Ahmad will be the guest of honour on the occasion.
