Dhaka: Ganojagaran Moncha on Tuesday vowed to continue their gathering at Shahbagh Chattar in the capital until the announcement of verdict by the International War Crimes Tribunal-2 against war crimes accused Jamaat secretary general Ali Ahsan Muhammad Mujahid.
“Our sit-in will continue until the announcement of judgment against Ali Ahsan Muhammad Mujahid. After the verdict, we’ll announce our next course of action,” Ganajagaran Mancha convener Imran H Sarkar told reporters.
The International Crimes Tribunal-2 (ICT-2) is set to pronounce verdict against Mujahid on Wednesday on charge of committing crimes against humanity during the Liberation War in 1971.

“All political parties should raise their voice against the verdict and join the people’s movement to put pressure on the government to appeal against the verdict,” he said.
