Kushtia: Two truck drivers and a helper were killed and two others were injured on Thursday in a road accident at Bheramara on Kushtia-Bheramara high way in a head on collision between the two trucks.

The accident occurred when a Bheramara bound truck from Kushtia collided head on with another truck coming from opposite direction killing both the driver and a helper on the spot.

The deceased were identified as drivers Shoel Rana, 40, Ratan 38 of Naogaon district and the identity of helper could not be known immediately.

Two injured persons were sent to local hospital for treatment.

Police retrieved both the bodies from the spot and sent to Kushtia General Hospital for postmortem.
