Dhaka: Anwara Syed Haq is one of the renowned poets and writers of Bangla literature. She has been walking untiringly in the different branches of literature such as poetry, novel, story and children-literature.

About Amar Ekushey Grantha Mela writer Anwara Syed Haq said “I am pleased to come at the book fair this year. The fragrance of the new books pulls me in the fair. The environment of the book fair is very neat and clean. The huge gathering of readers, writers and publishers is increasing association among them.”

“The fair gives me the smell of new paddy. Writers and readers express their thoughts and share ideas at the book fair” she added.

About the Projonmo Chattar Shahbagh she said, “It does not have any effect on the book fair. The Projonmo Chattar Shahbagh now needs precise leadership. They took the right decision of the time; war criminals should be hanged on. The victory rally of youth has to be continued in a manner that government or opposition party could not able to flow the movement in some other ways. Many want to foil this mass movement. The chattar should be freed from any kinds of grouping and partying.”

When asked about Humayun Ahmed and his contribution to Bangla literature, Anwara Syed Haq said with laden heart, “What did not done by Tarashankar, Waliullah is done by Humayun Ahmed. It is a matter of our pride that Humayun Ahmed worked with Bangla literature. It is our duty to spread his literate in a larger scale. Because a writer like Humayun Ahmed born in world literature rarely”.

Anwara Syed Haq’s poetry book ‘Kichu Ki Pure Jacche’ (Anonno Prokash), story book ‘Purnimai Nokher Achor’, column book ‘Narir Kichu Kotha Ache’(Maoula Prokash), novel ‘Ghum’(Shudhhoshor), novel ‘Toponer Muktijudhho’ and ‘Uponnash Shomogro Choturtho Khondo’ (Bidda Prokash) and ‘Anwara Syed Haq Er Column-2’ (Mizan Publishers) have been brought in the book fair.

In addition travel literature “Jojone Dur Shojonera( Kotha Prokash), novel ‘Akash Vora’ (Goddo Poddo) along with three other novel of juvenile from Ayon Prokash have published  at the book fair.
