Dhaka: Ashim Saha is a very famous name of Bangla poetry. His three new poetry books have published at this year’s book fair. Aguntuk Prokashoni published his two books ‘Kobor Khurche Imam” and ‘Purano Diner Ghashful’. Saaki Prokashoni brings his romantic poetry book ‘Premer Kobita’.

Ashim Saha was born in Netrokona district in 1949. His writing days started in 1964 and still it is going on. Besides writing he has been practicing journalism for more than 48 year in the prominent newspapers of the country.

Poet Ashim Saha has already awarded with Alaol Shahitto Puroshkar, Mymensingh Shahitto Shanshkriti Shommanona, Shatkhira Jatiyo Kobita Parishad Kobi Shommanona, Kobita Bangla Shommanona and Bangla Academy Puroshkar.

About the book fair Ashim Saha said, “The arrangement is good and I’m hoping better in future. The Projonmo Chattar might influence the fair but it was essential. The trial of war criminals is now mass people’s demand.”
