Dhaka: The chitchat of writers is always special. The book fair could not be thought without writers chatting corner which is known as ‘Lekhok Adda’. Like other years, a ‘Lekhok Adda’ corner is established with village atmosphere at ‘Amar Ekushay Grontho Mela 2013’ beside Vasha Shahid Chattar at Bangla Academy.

The writers come to Lekhok Adda whenever they get time. Many discussions are aroused in the get together of the authors there. Whose books, which publications, what is the theme of the write-ups, the cover and its designs, and comments on books are the main topics of their ‘Adda.’

But this year the presence of senior writers are lower than the young writers at the book fair. Senior writers are seen seldom. Young writer Fakruddin Mondol said, “Here the gossiping and literature talks will inspire young writers.”

Another writer Abul Kashem Fazlul Haque was chatting with his friends at Lekhok Adda. He said, ‘Lekhok Adda is a part and parcel of a book fair. If senior writers spent more time here that will help them to know their faults and corrections.”
