Dhaka: The first year medical and dental college admission tests for session 2012-13 will be held on Friday.

The examination will start at 10:00am and continue till 11:00am in 33 centres across the country.

The examinations for Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) will be held at Government Titumir College in the city’s Mohakhali area. 

On September 10, the High Court directed the authorities concerned to start the admission process through tests as the government decided earlier to admit medical and dental students on the basis of their results in HSC and equivalent examinations.

On August 12, the government decided to admit students in MBBS and BDS first year in all public and private medical colleges of the country without admission test.

But following raucous protests and High Court order the government reversed its decision and agreed to admit students through tests.
